OUR TEAM

SENIOR PASTOR
REV. BRENT & DAPHNE CARTER

Knowing the Way and Truth of ministry started for us in 1988 as we completed our theological studies at Northeast Christian College (UPBI). Our ministry gave us the opportunity to communicate the Truth of God’s Word in Kouchibouguac, Bathurst & Miramichi before coming to Mission Point in 2012. We serve as the Atlantic District Superintendent and as the President of Northeast Christian College. Knowing Full Life in ministry makes us passionate about our calling, about where we live, and about serving people. We are blessed with three children, their spouses, and seven grandchildren.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR
REV. MARK & JOLEEN ROBERTSON

Knowing the Way started at different times for my wife and I. After attending Northeast Christian College, we married and began helping Pastor Carter and Pastor Ron Carroll in Miramichi and Big Cove, NB. Joining the endeavors of these churches started us on an even greater path in sharing the Truth. On December 1st, 2014, the Lord moved us to Saint John to assist in the vision God had given Pastor Carter for the Mission Point Church. We are so excited to experience Full Life as God ministers in our church.

YOUTH PASTOR
CODY & MARISSA CARROLL

Knowing the Way and the Truth started for both of us at a very young age. We were involved in music ministry and a variety of voluntary roles in Miramichi NB. In 2019 we moved to Saint John and began to attend Mission Point. Since then, we’ve been privileged to share the truth of the Word of God at some of the satellite churches around our city and assist with MP Youth. We currently serve as Youth Pastor, and we are passionate to see students in our city come to know who Jesus is! We want to encourage young people and to teach them that Jesus Christ will ultimately give them Full Life.

Knowing the Way, knowing the Truth, and experiencing Full Life began for my wife and I when we joined Mission Point church in 2001. Not only has it been an incredible experience, but it was the start of a life-changing journey for my family and I. We feel a call and burden for our city, to help those in need and to assist others. We have been appointed as the Outreach Coordinator here at Mission Point and our mission is to teach others the Word of God through Bible studies and small group sessions. We also oversee outreach events in our local assembly, along with the daughter works that are around our city. We are excited about what God is doing in our city and we look forward to seeing you come to Know the Way, Know the Truth, and live Full Life

MEDIA DIRECTOR &
CHILDREN’S MINISTRIES DIRECTOR
MARILEE LOCKE

My parents were the first introduction to Jesus and Knowing the Way that I received. From a young age they instilled a love for Knowing the Truth and working for God in me. It was as a teen in a small church in New Brunswick that I had the first opportunity to volunteer as a Sunday school teacher and then in areas of production and graphics. It was in those small opportunities that I first Experienced Full Life. From that point, God has opened a variety of avenues of responsibility that have led me to here in ministry. It is my hope that through the work I am entrusted to do, others will have the opportunity to connect with my God and saviour, Jesus Christ, too.

SECRETARY
NINA BOYD

All of my life has been spent in the pursuit of Knowing the Way of Truth. The Word of God and serving Jesus was the primary focus in my childhood home, and I have been involved in various ministries since the age of six. I attended Apostolic Bible Institute for Biblical studies which ignited a life-long desire to obtain and share a greater knowledge of the truth found in God’s Word. While following a career in Social Work with the State of Indiana, I continued to teach Sunday School and Bible studies, and was involved in music, office administration and single’s ministry. In 2009, I married my husband, Vernon, and moved to Saint John, where I have been privileged to continue my ministry of teaching and by serving Mission Point as co-director with my husband of the iStand department and as Secretary-Treasurer since March 2020.
